        Scoring System
  • 15 - 30 - 40No-ad at deuce
  • Only one hit per side, as in tennis
        and badminton
  • Unlike volleyball, there is no     
    setting to  your partner
  • The ball may be served anywhere
        in the opponents court
  • Only one service attempt allowed
  • No let; If the ball touches the net,
        play continues      
  • Net cannot be touched in any way,
    including reaching  over  the net
    with racket, even on the follow
    through; The result is the loss of  
    the point
  • Each match consists of one Pro
    Set- First to win 7 games
  • The match must be won by 2  
    games (e.g. 7-5; 8-6)
  • If the match score is tied at 7-7, a
       tie-breaker is played;
       The first team to 7 winsthe match

MR GIANDOMENICO BELLETTINI
is the original inventor of Beach
Tennis, created over 30 years ago
in Italy. He is the  promoter of the
Italian Federation of Beach Tennis,
the inventor of the International
trademark, the inventor of the
graphite and glass fiber rackets
used to play the sport, the
promoter of the International
Federation of Beach Tennis (IFBT)
which counts over 57 countries
members.
