2012 IFBT WORLD CUP

The International Federation of Beach
Tennis USA (IFBT-USA) will hold its 4th
annual World Cup Tournament in Deerfield
Beach, Florida May 19-20 2012.

The tournament will be held on the scenic
Florida beach next to the beautiful pier of
Deerfield Beach, home of the IFBT-USA
training center.

The event will host players from different
countries each competing in for trophies
and prize money. Categories will include
Men's and Women's Doubles Open, Men's
and Women's Doubles Intermediate,
Mixed Doubles, Singles, and Juniors
(under 18).

IFBT-USA follows the tradition of the International Federation of Beach Tennis,
(the original federation of beach tennis) founded and created over 30 years ago in
Ravenna, Italy, where the sports still holds its original roots and headquarters.
Thousands of beach tennis courts can be found along the Italian coast and all along
Europe. Beach tennis has exploded around the world and is now played in over 70
countries, which are part of the International Federation, with that number growing
quickly.
